Transcendence
An Artistic Celebration of 2021 of the U.N. International Year of Peace and Trust
January 21 - February 28
A video preview of “Transcendence” featuring work by 31 Gallery at Flat Rock artists. “Transcendence” will be on view at The Gallery at Flat Rock from January 21 – February 28.
The Gallery at Flat Rock is thrilled to present a mid-winter exhibit designed to express hope and renewal in challenging times.
Inspired by the designation of 2021 as the International Year of Peace and Trust by the United Nations, “Transcendence” will feature work by over two dozen Gallery at Flat Rocks artists, who will each provide one artwork for the show that they believe evokes themes of peace and mutual trust among members of humanity.
“Transcendence” will be on view at The Gallery at Flat Rock from January 21 – February 28 and is free and open to the public. The exhibit will be available to view in-person as well as online at galleryflatrock.com.
“We look to the arts to transcend our everyday reality and inspire new ways of looking at things,” says Suzanne Camarata, owner of The Gallery at Flat Rock. “The gallery artists are keen to lead us into the new year with hope and promise of a better tomorrow.”
Over 30 artists will participate in the group exhibit.
