About Group of Plank Vases

The bases of these pieces are sound and strong and the ascension of their forms contains a nuanced taper. However, when the two larger pieces are isolated as single objects, their height boasts onerous and a distinct limited dimensionality is revealed. The individualism of these pieces has its limits. Together as a grouping, there is a feeling of support and a dynamic balance: tension and harmony.
