About Organic Industrial

To me the word “transcendence” is about transformation. Transcendence can be described as spiritual transformation—a moment of illumination when we grasp something beyond what we have known in the material world. For me, glimpses of anything like transcendence are firmly rooted in the material world, in nature.  I love that nature is never static. Through growth and decay, it transforms whatever has come before into something else. I find abandoned buildings strangely comforting, where these processes are well underway. There is a certain peacefulness at the sight of brick and glass slowly being consumed and reclaimed. These pieces are about holding that feeling.
