Artist Statement:

Inspired by nature, music and emotions I invite viewers to explore my visual spaces with curiosity and wonder. Drawing upon all life experiences for inspiration my paintings evolve at the crossroads of intuition and emotion. My paintings record my life’s journey in visual form representing who I am better than words can describe.

Artist Biography:

After a lifelong career as a European trained master goldsmith Libby began painting in 2017 after a sudden and tremendous personal loss. Initially, the materials she experimented with were oils and cold wax but drying times
frustrated her and she shifted to acrylic and various mixed media painting on both canvas and cradled wood panels. Libby's process is continually evolving as she allows the paint and materials to lead her to the next stage of development. Papers and collage have rece...
