Fabulous Fakes is always such a fun exhibit, especially with all the surprises we get in seeing what participating artists create!

Yes folks, it's that time of year that we can muse over the talent of local artists who have risen to the challenge of creating a clever doppelgänger to a famous work of art (by adding a twist or two...) Hats off to Alec Hall, who (we believe) improves upon the original painting La Japonaise by Claude Monet by adding some canine friends to the composition!

Gallery artists participating this year in this county-wide event include John Anderson, Alec Hall, Melanie Hopkins, Helene Lund Den Boer, Clare Sahling and Susan Webb Tregay. Additional artists with work at the gallery include Art League members Darlyne Hayes, Donna Kerr, Ken Meardon and Jean Tuech.

We hope to see you this Saturday, May 4 for the exhibit's opening day - between 11 am - 4 pm. Also, make your way to Art MoB and The Art Place to see all of this year's Fabulous Fakes!
