Artist Spotlight with Cathey Stoney and Haley Jelinek

Join us from 2 to 4 p.m. this Saturday, September 16 for an artist spotlight featuring painter Cathey Stoney and Haley Jelinek, two artists new to the gallery. Cathey, a resident of Saluda who works in oil and cold wax, is a career artist and retired art educator. Haley is based in Asheville and creates functional pieces in blown glass workshops across the area. 

Drop in anytime between 2 and 4 p.m. for this casual meet-and-greet event to see Cathey and Haley's work and ask them questions you might have about their fascinating processes. They will be bringing their supplies/tools to demo their techniques.

Side note: These two fabulous artists were picked to be in our 2023 Art in Bloom exhibition!
