Come enjoy the freedom that painting with acrylics can provide.  Learn to use transparent layers interspersed with opaque areas to create compositions with a limited palette.  Bring enthusiasm and let go of preconceived ideas about this wonderfully flexible medium.  Each artist may bring photographs to work with if they choose.  All materials provided, no experience necessary.  Acrylic paints are permanent on clothing so please dress casually.

Cynthia L. Wilson has displayed paintings in the National Academy of Design in NYC, as well as in the American Watercolor Society, Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, South Carolina Watercolor Society and National Society of Painters in Casein and Acrylic. She has taught Process and Possibilities Workshops in Hendersonville and at Hemlocks Studios for over twenty years.
