My painting called “A Seat at The Table” is fairly self explanatory. This commonly used phrase was meant to show that marginalized groups should have a say in ideas. Usually, these ideas lead to decisions made without their input especially in the workplace.
While my work is typically abstract, I felt the need to incorporate physical objects to make the piece plain in meaning.
