ART ON 7TH JULY EXHIBITION

This is month-long exhibition at Art on 7th features artwork by WNC artists addressing the erosion of DEI initiatives, and expressing their desire for fair treatment and full participation of ALL people, particularly underrepresented groups subject to discrimination based on identity or disability.

 

Our hope is to remind visitors that DEI is not a slogan but a principle that strengthens community.

 

DIVERSITY DEFINED

Representation of people from a variety of backgrounds at all levels in an organization AND community. Race, gender, disability, religion, age, sexual orientation, class status and more.

 

EQUITY DEFINED

Fairness and impartiality.

Fair pay. Fair treatment. Fair opportunities.

 

INCLUSION DEFINED

Providing equal access to opportunities and resources for people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalized, such as those who have physical or intellectual disabilities and members of other minority groups.
