STITCH A PORTRAIT WORKSHOP – Part 1

In this two-day introductory workshop, you will transform a photograph into a stitched portrait. In the first session you will use a light table to transfer your image onto fabric and then Helene will guide you through the process of stitching and adding your own “visual language and style” to your work. You will have a week to work independently before we reconvene to share progress, answer questions, and add finishing touches to your portrait.
