ART IN BLOOM 2025 CALL FOR ARTISTS
We invite 2D and 3D artists from Western North Carolina to submit up to three original pieces of artwork for consideration in the 2025 exhibition. All artwork must be original and available for purchase. No giclée prints. Accepted forms of art and craft include paintings, photography, mixed media, sculpture, glass, wood, fiber, jewelry, etc.
A floral theme in your artwork is not necessary and discouraged.
Artists featured in the 2024 Art in Bloom exhibit are not allowed to apply for this year’s show.
Submission Guidelines:
completed 2025 Art in Bloom Artist Application with a maximum of 3 high resolution images for review by the exhibition Judge and Curator.
- Minimum size of 2D artwork = 16 H 16” W
- Minimum size of 3D artwork = 15” H 5” W
- Minimum retail value of artwork = $500
Online submissions accepted beginning June 16, 2025
(All submissions must be submitted online. Do not bring them to the gallery.)
Deadline for submissions is 5:00 p.m., July 18, 2025
Late entries will not be accepted.
Selected artists will be notified by 5:00 p.m., Monday, July 28.
Artists whose work is not selected will not receive any notifications.
All artwork submitted for jurying must be owned by the artist and available for sale.
Required Entry Fee: $35 per artist
Each artist submitting artwork must pay a $35 entry fee when submitting artwork.
If paying by check, the check must be delivered to The Gallery at Flat Rock within 5-days of the artists’ online submission.
Online entries submitted the last week of accepting entries(July 14 – 18) must submit and complete payment no later than July 18, 2025. No exceptions.
Artwork by artists who do not pay by the entry fee by submission deadline will not be considered or judged for the show.
Payment can be made online or by check made payable to The Gallery at Flat Rock.
Checks can be mailed or delivered during regular gallery hours.
Checks must arrive no later than July 18, 2025.
