La Dolce Vita: The Sweet Life of Bobbie Polizzi

For all who knew her, gallery artist Bobbie Polizzi was unique in her ability to inspire and connect. Now, for Bobbie’s Celebration of Life event, we’re going “all out” and will be faithfully following Bobbie’s directives to party it up in style with the same verve and generosity that she showed to the many whose lives were touched by hers!

In addition to the opportunity to see about 25 of Bobbie’s artworks from private collections gathered for the first time together here, there will be a chance to view a group show of the work of 15 artists who have been inspired by Bobbie’s inimitable and whimsically dark style—both as a lifelong artist and as a woman known to have a large heart for her friends and fellow humans. A portion of sales from pieces in the group exhibit will go to the Henderson County Boys & Girls Club, Bobbie’s charity of choice for her legacy; there will also be a chance to give directly to the Boys & Girls Club at the event. 

Also, because Bobbie was such a huge fan of the Mexican holiday Día de los Muertos, we’re asking anyone who’s inspired to bring an object that can be added to a dedicatory shrine (objects will be returned at the end of the exhibit) Also, we’d love it if folks would email personal photos of you and Bobbie so we can add these images to a slideshow that will play during her Celebration of Life.
