Botanical Fairy Garden with Tamsin Allpress

Fairy garden.jpg

Learn to create a miniature garden! Tamsin will guide you in making a botanical fairy garden that will keep for years, with the right design and care.

Combined with the floral design emphasis there will be tea to enjoy as you learn and create. Lynn Weekes Karegeannes, a tea enthusiast and artist, has picked out a variety of teas that will complement the theme of the workshop. We hope to see you at one of these workshops or perhaps all of them!

About Tamsin Allpress

Tamsin has lived on three continents, absorbing widely differing cultures, and traveling to fascinating places around the world. In Zimbabwe and England she worked as an RN and midwife. In Switzerland her full-time occupation was the care of our two little girls.

Years later, Tamsin started her own consulting travel business. Travel planning, itinerary design, and implementation are a joint venture between Tamsin and traveler. When she is not busy organizing trips, Master Gardener Volunteer Tamsin Allpress is busy working in her garden as well as the gardens of the Flat Rock Playhouse. She started the ‘FRPH Garden Volunteers’ a dozen years ago when the playhouse grounds were mostly neglected. The 14 volunteers work together two times a week, from March to November.
