Paste & Pamphlet - Your Paper, Your Book

Paste-and-Pamphlet.jpeg

Create books using cover papers of your own design! You’ll learn the secrets of making paste paper, creating patterns using numerous everyday tools, like a plastic card, a bottle cap, a comb, even your fingers!

Once dried, you’ll select from your custom designed papers to make at least two journal books you can use for note-taking, journaling or sketching, or maybe a special gift. Participants will learn different methods of stitching – 7-hole pamphlet with beads, and chain stitch.

All supplies are provided. You will also take home detailed instructional handouts to recreate similar papers and books on your own.

Note: This workshop can get messy. Please bring an apron or smock.
