Squirrel’s Nest by Diane Kilgore Condon

The Gallery at Flat Rock is proud to present “More Creatures Great & Small,” the second exhibit at the gallery to feature beloved beasts depicted in various media, by ten artists.

The group show, which runs July 26 – Aug. 12, 2018, will include works by Valerie Beck, Larry Calkins, Diane Kilgore Condon, Marsha Hammel, Katherine Maloney, Bobbie Polizzi, Holly Schlater, Ken Sedberry, Becky Street and Lauryn Welch.  

“More Creatures Great and Small” will formally kick off on July 26 with an opening reception from 5-7pm.

What started as “All Creatures Great and Small” in July 2016, “More Creatures...” will play off the theme of exploring animals as they’re depicted by artists in their work. Each artist is already known for incorporating furry, scaled, feathered (or otherwise clad) beasts in their work, whether of the domesticated type or wild and free.
