Meredith Middleton| Jewelry

During a crossroads in my life, I began to cultivate an internal drive to create, drawn to a medium that challenged, fascinated and produced a certain level of comfort, rear and respect in me – that medium being metal, specifically sterling silver.
— Meredith

Meredith is a Chattanooga native with roots in both the suburbs and the New Salem community of rural Lookout Mountain. This contrast in early-life environments finds its way into her work, which is both rustic and organic while also refined and elegant. In 2010, Meredith began studying metal and sterling silver fabrication at the John C. Campbell Folk School. Coming full circle, Meredith is now a regular instructor at the Folk School.
