“I’m enthralled with the making of things, a constant need to attend to whether it be baking a pie or using a torch to cut steel. I am grateful for the freedom to explore time-consuming, creative activity as it feeds my soul. And when someone responds to something I’ve made, it’s the most wonderful high.”
Elizabeth has been creating for over four decades across expressive mediums: photography, ceramics, blacksmithing, sculpture, weaving, woodworking, painting, and collage.
Elizabeth’s current passion is painting intuitive landscapes. These ethereal scenes are misty with clouds, and suffused with movement while offering a moment of pause for viewers. Her paintings shimmer with liminal light and beauty.
